Group Support

At Parentstop we also offer group parenting supports as and when needed. For example we offer space for young parents groups to meet and support each other weekly. We offer parent sessions on key challenges such as nutrition and obesity (At the Family Table – cook and chat); boundaries (Managing Challenging Behaviours) ; parents mental health (Minding Me); internet safety (Knowing your child is being safe online); and important transitions (Taking the leap from Primary School to Post Primary Level).  We also work closely with other services in offering parent programmes such as the Heath Promotion Fas  Le Cheile Parent Programmes; Strengthening Families Programme; Parents Plus (early Years and Middle Years Programmes) ; and the Roots of Empathy Programme.

Parentstop Ltd in collaboration with the Parent Hub Donegal and with funding from IPB is offering the Parents Plus programme entitled Parenting When Separated. The programme is being rolled out across Co Donegal and is coming to a venue near you soon. This programme runs for six weeks and is free for parents who have separated or divorced and are co-parenting.
